FOSS4G Conference

MiraMon is attending the FOSS4G (Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial Conference), which lists the main contributions of free and open source software in the field of GIS

FOSS4G is presented annually by the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo). In 2008, FOSS4G comes to the Cape Town International Convention Centre, in the downtown heart of Cape Town, South Africa. The Conference Theme for 2008 is "Open Source Geospatial: An Option for Developing Nations".

Coordination of the activities of the OGC and OSGeo in the field of interactive maps that use "tiles" as the optimization.

Booth

Dedicated to the two open-source initiatives currently under way: the browser MiraMon Map and an encoder and decoder called open source Boi.
